Vehicles from the parade. Note that, unlike last year, I located myself in the shade which was cool for me, but not so hot for the photos, almost as if all that steel was melting before our eyes.
Of course, there were the usual Croaker Queen and Miss Minnow, a pair of horses, the Kazooligans, the Sudan Hooligans, the Fire Departments (short, loud video below) and lots of flags with the Croaker Band in the middle of it all.
That night, we grilled under the clubhouse and watched the town's fireworks from the deck. At least twenty sailboats and uncountable power boats floated in the river as the pyrotechnics exploded over the bridge. We were wishing we could legally discharge our outdated flares. Oh well...Happy 4th.
